Smile for Santa? No Thanks.

We made it to see Santa tonight at Northbrook Court Mall (for any of you in the Chicagoland area, he is the BEST Santa around!) and it was an adventure.  Of course we didn't realize it was "Pet Nights with Santa" or that Santa "visits his toy shop" from 5pm to 6pm.  Guess what time we arrived?  5pm on the dot.  So we walked around, made some returns and wondered why there were so many dogs walking around the Mall!

Luckily he really is the best Santa and takes his time with all the kids (and dogs) and is genuinely nice to everyone, and so realistic looking!  I was tempted to sit on his lap and thank him for my new iPhone :)  All of this ensured that Owen was not afraid of Santa and was excited to hold his hand and sit on his lap, although not excited enough to smile...
